Luke Macias - Founder and Director |
Luke has a passion for America to understand and comprehend the solutions that are required for our nation to succeed. It is through the founding and growing of Effectual Change that he hopes to communicate this vision. He currently works in the Sales and Marketing department for CollegePlus!, a coaching program which guides students through gaining their degree using distance learning methods. This gives him a unique perspective on higher education and solutions that will greatly lower the cost of a college degree. Luke has actively participated in the governmental process for the last several years, serving for two years as a board member of the Republican Club of Comal County, working on numerous political campaigns across the state of Texas, and even serving as a staff member in the Texas House of Representatives. He is currently working on completing his BA in Economics. |
Adam is committed to working for and seeing “Effectual Change” take place throughout our country. He invested most of 2004 and all of 2006 through 2008 at the grassroots and leadership levels of several State House and Senate campaigns both in Texas and in Florida, including a 2-year term of service on the staff of his State Representative here in the Texas Hill Country. Beyond political endeavors, Adam is a singer/songwriter, a proofreader/editor, a soccer coach, an entrepreneur, and is currently pursuing his certification as an Identity Theft consultant. A heart for missions and ministry remains a significant part of his life following 4 summers of overseas mission trips and roughly 7 years spent in ministry work. Adam holds a BSBA degree from Thomas Edison State College.

Micah has had 3 years of childrens ministry experience across the United States and has served in international ministries in Moscow, Russia. He worked for nearly two years as a Purchasing agent at the Institute in Basic Life Principles, a non for profit ministry headquartered in Chicago IL. He has experience in political campaigns including work in the 2008 Presidential primary. Micah works in sales and marketing for CollegePlus! as he pursues a bachelor's degree in business. Preston Cone is a 20 year-old senior at Louisiana Baptist University, working towards a Bachelor's Degree in Communications. Preston was grateful to have been home educated and states, "I have truly benefited from being home educated. It has provided unparalleled opportunities to have meaningful, real life interactions with people of all ages and from various walks of life. I believe that home education has provided a richness in academic, spiritual and character training and I believe it has generously prepared me for the future." Preston enjoys many different activities, some of which include: political involvement, sports, hunting, writing, and working with and teaching children. Preston also enjoys working with his Church, and various ministries. Through all of these various activities, Preston first calls himself, "a follower of Christ". Preston is the son of Rush and Cindy Cone, the youngest brother to three siblings, an Eagle Scout, and his highest regard… a Christian.

Brandon has enjoyed being active in the governmental process for several years, and has a passion for finding and implementing clear solutions for America. He recently graduated high school in May of 2008 and plans on begining his college studies in the summer of 2009. His interests include football, politics, reading, and spending time with his family and friends.

Admissions/Development intern with CollegePlus!, Tim is currently pursuing a Communications degree with a focus in Political Science from Thomas Edison State College. His main interests lie in photography, politics, writing and enjoying time with friends. In his own words, "I hope that this site will be a great tool for both younger and older audiences to effect change by being active in politics, whether at the community, state or federal level and promoting the conservative, Christian values that make this country what it is." He currently makes his residence in San Antonio, TX.

John currently serves as the administrative assistant and director of development to Brad Voeller, the owner of CollegePlus!, Global Learning Strategies, and HomeSchool Friend. Brad is also the director of Family mission international. John has worked on several campaigns in the state of Michigan and has been an active voice to clear change that needs to come. John recently returned to the states after an internship in South Korea. John is a current junior pursuing his BSBA in General Management from Thomas Edison State College.

Abe has been passionate about real change for quite some time and has had enjoyed working on several campaigns in the State of Texas. Abe's family are missionaries in Acuna Mexico where he had the privilege of serving for several years. Abe is currently in his sophomore year of college and resides in Del Rio Texas. He enjoys Reading, basketball, politics, coffee, bible studies, and time with friends and family. |
